The move is being made, according to Diamant Salihu, because it is a large market where there is no major competition and perhaps not as many police officers.
Higher price in the north
Dimant Salihu, who works as a reporter at SVT Nyheter, has long specialized in trying to understand what lies behind gang conflicts, drug trafficking and crime. He has also written two books dealing with these issues.
He believes that the criminals also make more money from the drugs up north.
