Blizzard strikes a blow at the beginning of June by offering us to discover Diablo Immortal. The legendary franchise tackles small Android and IOS screens, while offering the opportunity to play it on PC.

If we have been waiting for news from Diablo 4 for a little over two years, it is Diablo Immortal which is at the heart of the news this Thursday since it has landed on IOS, Android and PC. This brand new release brings the famous Diablo game format to the small screen, in addition to providing a full experience and cross-save on PC. A mobile game that punches above its category, we don’t see it every day, but coming from Diablo, nothing too surprising.
The good news is that, for once, it won’t be necessary to install an emulator on your computer to play Diablo Immortal. The game was developed on mobile but also on PC, which removes a lot of steps before we can play it. To install Diablo Immortal, you just need to download the launcher Battle.net. Once installed, and your account created, click on the small + button in the list at the top of your launcher, shown in the image below. You will find Diablo Immortal in the list of games to add, click on it, then on download beta. The game will install and you can play it on your PC!

What is the gameplay of Diablo Immortal?
If you are a fan of Diablo games, you won’t be disoriented by this new release. Diablo Immortal offers typical hack-n-slash gameplay, with real-time combat, adapting the RPG format to the shy platform of mobile games. Diablo Immortal will also be, like many mobile games, completely free-to-play. You can embody one of the six classes available at launch: warrior, wizard, mage, monk, crusader or necromancer. Obviously, each class offers a different gameplay, but the heart of the game remains the same: overcome the hordes of minions of Diablo to protect humanity from a brutal end, while enriching themselves and improving their equipment.
Diablo Immortal in crossplay on PC?
This is one of the big news surrounding the release of Diablo Immortal, the game has been available since its beta release on PC. A version that is similar to the one on mobile, offering identical graphics and gameplay, while being adapted in depth to the PC format. The UI is scaled to computer screens, keyboard keys are supported to provide an experience as close to a Diablo game as possible (with for the first time the introduction of displacement on ZQSD and gamepad support). The good news is that Diablo Immortal has full crossplay and cross-save support right from its release, allowing you to switch between PC and mobile at will.
