Diablo 4: The beta start in the live ticker

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Tomorrow, March 17th, the pre-order beta of Diablo 4 will finally start. MeinMMO accompanies the start in the live ticker. We can already tell you what you can expect.

When does the beta start? On Friday, March 17th at 17:00 GMT, the servers for the Early Access Beta will go live. The beta runs until Monday, March 20, at 8:00 p.m. German time.

Anyone who has pre-ordered Diablo 4 or otherwise received a key can participate this weekend. If you want to secure your access beforehand, you can find a comparison of the Diablo 4 editions here.

If you don’t want to pre-order Diablo 4, you can join the Open Beta starting March 24th. This also starts at 5 p.m., but runs until the following Monday, March 27, at 9 p.m. The preload starts Wednesday, but it’s pretty big.

You can find all information about the beta of Diablo 4 here.

Will there be queues? We expect. Already the last season of Diablo 3 before the release of Diablo 4 showed how enormous the interest in the franchise is. For the first time in years there were queues.

We can’t yet say how big the rush will be. Since “only” pre-orderers are playing this week, there will be rather short queues. However, Blizzard wants to test the server load, so there may well be waiting times and even server problems.

A great fear in the community is the famous error 37 from the release of Diablo 3. At that time, the error made playing completely impossible. It remains to be seen whether a similar error will occur this time.

We’ll tick the release for you live here on Friday from around 3:00 p.m. If you want to stay up to date, you can always find the current status here.

Start of the beta: contents and times

You can create up to 10 characters in the beta and level them up to level 25. After that, you can farm as you wish, but you won’t level up any further. The entire first act and the prologue are available to you.

There will even be a world boss to fight, but only at certain times. You’ll need to play in the evening or early morning if you want to get a feel for the feature.

If you want to test druids or necromancers, you’ll have to wait until the open beta. The two classes are not yet available in Early Access. If you have not yet decided what you want to play, here is an overview of the classes:
