Diablo franchise boss Rod Fergusson has responded to a question about whether the Diablo 4 Battle Pass will offer enough premium currency to buy the latest Battle Pass “for free”.
Unfortunately, that will not be the case. You will earn premium currency, but not enough to earn the next Battle Pass.

Good morning everyone and welcome to our ticker for the Diablo 4 server slam! Hopefully you’re prepared, have downloaded the patch or beta, and are ready to slay demons tonight at 9:00 p.m.
We have summarized all important information for you here:
On Friday, May 12th at 21:00 the servers go live. You can play on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Here you will find the most important information about the server slam.
You can play until Sunday May 14th at 21:00.
Server Slam is free for everyone, you don’t need to pre-order Diablo 4. Simply download the beta from your platform store or Battle.net.
Unlike in the first beta, all 5 classes from Diablo 4 are available to you again this weekend, including the necromancer and the druid. You can play Act 1 up to a maximum of level 20.
From now on we are live for you at the start and will provide you with the most important information about Diablo 4 before the beta begins. After that we will accompany the server status and reveal how long the queues are. So be ready!
By the way, if you play in the Server Slam up to level 20, you will get a cute wolf pup as a transmog for the release on June 6th.
What is the server slam? Blizzard has prepared a server slam so that players can test the capacity of the servers and test the content of the action RPG before the official release of Diablo 4. The first starting area and all classes can be upgraded to level 20 to unlock free cosmetics.

When does the server slam start? The server slam starts today on Friday, May 12th at 21:00. Note that this is the last beta test. So there will be a big crowd. Expect long waiting times.
