Today, June 27th, there are problems with the Diablo 4 servers. With the new update, players were faced with extremely long download times and queues. The maintenance work continues.
What’s happening in Diablo 4 today?
You should enable these settings if you make it into the game after the update:
Some players are reporting long download times and queues on the Diablo 4 subreddit. u/arctccz1 asks in his post what is wrong with his download speed.
We also noticed the long duration of the download, sometimes it fluctuates from 58 to 680 kB/s and back again, or it seems to freeze for a moment.
After downloading, players will come to character selection, but there they will be greeted with a never-ending queue:
When can I play again? The maintenance work officially lasts until 11:00 p.m. You should still be able to log in – just keep at it.
Blizzard writes in the comment on today’s outage (via battle.net): “There may be restrictions and disconnections during this period. However, it should be possible to log in again.”
What is the current standing? At 8:15 p.m. the download is successfully completed for many players, the queues have not yet completely dissolved. The problem also occurs on the PS5.
With us, the queues sometimes lasted up to 45 minutes, others didn’t have any at all.
What can I do? Except for waiting probably not so much. With regard to the stalled download, it helped us to pause and restart it in between. Restarting BattleNet might also help.
