Many players in Diablo 4 are currently suffering from money problems in the new season 4. Now X Blizzard has spoken out about the situation.
Why do players argue about gold? Season 4 in Diablo has started and shortly after it started there were discussions in a Reddit thread about players not having enough gold. Our colleague Benedict has also already complained that he is having quite a bit of gold problems this season.
Above all, players complain that potions, legendaries and catch-up gear have become incredibly expensive. However, others find the changes positive: They think that in the old seasons gold was so readily available that it practically didn’t matter. Now it feels like it’s worth something.
Now Blizzard itself is commenting on the current situation.
The situation is discussed in the development team
What does Blizzard say about the situation? The topic is not lost on Blizzard either. On X, Adam Fletcher, the Global Community Development Director, responded to a comment from a player. He admits that the situation surrounding gold is currently being discussed in the development team.
However, it is still unclear when we will receive an update on this and what that will mean for players. So far, there are many indications that the current gold situation could be revised again.
How does the community react to this? Under Adam Fletcher’s commentary on X, players are divided. Many seem to have problems with the gold, while the other half seem happy. This is what some users wrote under the post:
