The first beta weekend of Diablo 4 is over and the next round is already coming up, this time for all interested players. You can find everything about the download and the contents of the open beta here on MeinMMO in a quick overview.
How long does the open beta last? You can join on Friday evening and the servers will remain available until Monday evening:
However, we recommend that you do not start the beta right after the release on Friday evening. The servers were at their limit when the pre-order beta started last week, and the queues sometimes went up to 2 hours. We expect the same this week.
The servers were fully available on Saturday and Sunday and caused no problems. We were there on MeinMMO with a ticker.
When does the preload / download start? Today, Wednesday evening at 5 p.m. German time, the preload of the Diablo beta begins. Depending on the version, you need between 45 and 85 GB – so start the download in good time. Here you can find more information about the system requirements on the PC.

What can you test? You will be able to play the entire prologue and the first act up to level 25. After that, you can complete any side missions and assignments in the Act 1 area, but you won’t level up any further. In addition, all 5 classes from Diablo 4 are available to you.
There are also dungeons. There are over 20 dungeons open to you, from which you can get special loot and legendary aspects.
Also, at certain times you will fight one of the world bosses that can only be defeated by large groups of players. After the beta there is a wipe and you lose all progress – you are only allowed to keep a few small things.
How does multiplayer work? All multiplayer features are already available to you in the Diablo 4 beta. You can fight your way through the first act of Diablo 4 with groups of 4 and crossplay is also already activated. You can see more about the Diablo 4 multiplayer in the video:
