Diablo 4 invites experts to play the new class, shows gameplay for everyone shortly afterwards

With the expansion Vessel of Hatred, Diablo 4 gets its first new class, the Spiritborn. Starting next week, the first people from outside will be able to play it and live streams are promised.

What’s next for Diablo 4?

This is what Blizzard shows: On X, several well-known influencers and Diablo experts are currently tweeting that they will be able to take a first look at the Spiritborn on July 12th. They are invited directly to Blizzard’s home in LA, as the tweets say.

The experts include Rob, Moxsy and Darth Microtransaction. MacroBioBoi and wudijo have even already announced that they will be able to show both the expansion and the new class in the first gameplay live on stream on Thursday, July 18th.

We don’t yet know what content will be shown in detail. There are already some leaked images of Vessel of Hatred, but some of them have raised concerns.

MeinMMO has also received an invitation, so expect to get insights into everything that is shown to us (and what we are allowed to talk about).

We can now show the official and quite bloody intro to Vessel of Hatred:

The new class in Diablo 4: What can the Spiritborn do?

Blizzard has already revealed initial information about the new class. The developers describe the Spiritborn as the “ultimate predator” that is closely linked to the new Nahantu area and its jungle.

In the first images, the spirit-born are reminiscent of a kind of animal warrior in the Mesoamerican style with jaguar tattoos and spears. They draw on the power of the spirits and will probably be able to use both physical and magical attacks in some form.

Players currently suspect a mix between Druid (Diablo 4), Monk (Diablo 3) and Amazon (Diablo 2) in the Spiritborn. They are hoping for possible shapeshifting or even pet builds.

Blizzard is trying out a completely new class for Diablo with the Spiritborn, after two new additions have already appeared in Immortal with the Blood Knight and the Storm. The Diablo 4 community, however, still seems to be quite attached to the past: fans have been demanding a Paladin in Diablo 4 since the release – the boss explains why you won’t get one now
