So why not listen to Asmongold? On May 15, a post titled “Stop listening to Asmon” appeared on the unofficial Diablo 4 subreddit. In it, user “Rickytentoes” called on the streamer not to let the game break.
In every review video I’ve seen of this guy, he complains. “This is too weak”, “This feature sucks.” I’m pretty sure his whole gimmick is to complain. Necros are not corrosive. The druid can absolutely destroy. There are videos that prove that.
Diablo is said to be quite difficult. Play your build. Customize your build to suit your playstyle. Stop letting Asmon ruin your game.

What do others say? There is a lot of agreement in the comments. Some Reddit users go even further and criticize the streamer’s skills in various games. In their eyes, his opinion is therefore probably less meaningful.
Others are fundamentally opposed to being overly influenced by a content creator’s opinion or even letting it ruin a game.
However, some believe that there is something to the streamer’s criticisms or at least give him the right to his own opinion.
In fact, Asmongold is known for being very critical of Blizzard in particular.

How does Asmongold react? A not insignificant part of Asmongold’s streams is reacting to Reddit posts. Since the thread ended up at the top of the D4 subreddit with more than 1,800 upvotes and over 1,600 comments, it’s no surprise that the streamer discovered it.
After reading the post and skimming through some of the comments, Asmongold responded with a sarcastic dripping, “That’s right gentlemen. I ruined Diablo 4.” But the streamer didn’t want to just let the accusations stand:
This is crazy and has nothing to do with any of the objective analysis I’ve provided on the classes. These are all just personal insults about being bad at video games.
However, after defending his abilities in Path of Exile (“I played the most complicated build!”), Asmongold reiterated his opinion that the druid is a weak class: it’s like kicking a single-legged human in a race against a man with two legs.
Asmongold isn’t the only one who likes to have strong opinions. His fans are not inferior to him. So some viewers are completely horrified by the idea that he could have a happy relationship – then they could no longer identify with him.
