Dungeons are an important part of Diablo 4 and are often used for leveling. We have three ways for you to get out of the dungeons quickly.
Due to the density of opponents, the dungeons are ideal for collecting a lot of experience points in a short time. So that you are not unnecessarily held up in the process, there are three options in the game to exit the dungeon with just a few clicks.
This is the quickest way to exit the dungeon: You can exit the dungeon with one click using the emote wheel. To do this, simply select Exit Dungeon in the top left. You will be teleported directly in front of the dungeon entrance.
You learn how to use the emote wheel in one of the first quests in Diablo 4.
These variants are still available: Another option would be the door icon on the dungeon map. If you see a small staircase there, you can click on the symbol and be teleported to the entrance as well.
Otherwise, of course, you can also open the world map and travel to a city of your choice, provided you have unlocked the waypoint. This is especially helpful if your inventory is very full after going through the dungeon and you want to use or sell the stuff.
It’s even faster via your city portal (key “T”). However, this always takes you to the capital of the area, not to the next waypoint. The advantage, however, is that you can also use the portal to return.
Dungeons become an important part of the endgame. You can see what awaits you there in the video:

Exit Dungeons Quickly – That’s why it’s worth it
The faster you get out of the dungeons, the more time you have to farm experience points and loot, explore the map or conquer new dungeons. In addition, it is of course annoying at some point to run back through the entire dungeon to look for an exit.
Leaving the dungeons with the emote wheel or the stairs icon is also useful for quest dungeons that have to be turned in in the wilderness and not in a city.
Another advantage is that you can continue looting around the dungeon. If you want to master dungeons even faster or know which items you actually need for your builds, you can find information on the best skills for all classes in our guide:
