Diablo 4 received a major patch on June 27th that solves many community issues. MeinMMO summarizes the most important information for you and provides the patch notes.

These are the most important changes: The two most important topics in the patch are both the buffs for all classes and the adjustments to the nightmare dungeons. Dungeons are one of Diablo 4’s endgame features, but until now they weren’t considered worthwhile. That changes now:
Completing a Nightmare dungeon and killing monsters in those dungeons now grant significantly more XP.
You can now travel to a nightmare dungeon directly from the map.
Certain events in dungeons now properly grant experience.
In class balancing, there were buffs across the board for all classes, so many builds should now be playable. You can find the best builds for all classes in our tier list, but things will probably shift a bit here. You can find the class changes in detail here (translation to follow):

What else is in the patch? There was a bug fix where you can now open world boss chests at any level instead of waiting until level 80. There were also a few buffs to Infernal Tides and other endgame content:
Crates in Infernal Tides now grant more bonus XP when opened
the roaming bosses in Infernal Tides carry more loot
Whispers now all grant more XP
With more than 60 bug fixes, there are mainly fixes for skill and dungeon problems as well as for co-op and fixes for visual bugs. You can find the full list of bug fixes in the official patch notes.
What else is coming to Diablo 4? A big topic that the developers have also addressed is gems. These should soon count as a limited resource and thus cost less inventory space. But that happens at the earliest around Season 2, roughly in October.
Defensive values should also be changed with Season 2: the hitherto lousy resistances will be improved. At the moment the stats aren’t worth it at all because armor and damage reduction are much stronger, especially at higher levels. That should change.
There are also a few adjustments to the Season 1 grind. With this one, players feared that they would have to do everything all over again. There was a clarification here:
