The start of Season 27 in Diablo 3 is imminent. Under the motto “Call of Light” it starts with the new “Angel Crucible” items to sanctify items. Everything about the time, starter sets and the seasonal theme in 3 minutes.
When does season 27 start? On Friday, August 26th, Season 27 of Diablo 3 starts at 5:00 p.m. German time on PC. From the last few seasons we know that consoles are a few hours later and can only get started at night.
Below we give you an overview of what will happen in the new season.
The Season Theme
What is that? The theme of Season 27 “Call of the Light” gives you the opportunity to “sanctify” your legendary items. For this you use the new consumables “Angel Crucible”.
The Saint grants one of three new class-specific powers to a legendary item.
Angel Crucibles can drop anywhere in Sanctuary from level 70
You can only have one Sacred Item equipped at a time – you can collect an infinite number
You can sanctify sanctified items again with an angel crucible
If you sanctify an item, none of its values will remain
Your pets cannot equip Sacred Items
Hallowing items does not work on craftable items
The Sacred Attributes
There are: You must be wondering what traits the legendary items can gain when you “sanctify” them. We show you the details in the overview. Note that there are three possible traits per class that will be randomly rolled.
barbarian:
Whirlwind pulls in and roots all enemies within 25 yards.
Ancestral Hammer hits enemies in all directions. Every 10th use unleashes a powerful shockwave.
When you hit enemies, you generate stacks of Storm Rhythm. When you cast Berserker’s Wrath, you consume up to 50 stacks of Storm’s Beat and startle enemies within 16 yards, increasing damage taken by 2% per stack for 20 seconds. Stacks up to 50 times.
crusader:
Blessed Hammer now crackles with energy, damaging enemies within 15 yards of its trajectory. All runes except domination now cause the hammer to fly forward in a straight line.
You cast Heaven’s Fist on a random nearby enemy every 2 seconds. After using Cavalry, this effect occurs at shorter intervals for 5 seconds.
Heavenly Execution now causes you to fall from heaven with 2 Archangels who cast Consecration and Condemn.
Demon Hunter:
Barrage now triggers your most recently cast unchanneled Hate Consumer.
Revenge fires a volley of missiles that deal damage based on an enemy’s maximum health percentage. The number of missiles increases over 30s. Elite enemies and bosses take less damage per missile.
Shatter Arrow no longer fires an exploding projectile, instead concentrating explosive power into piercing beams of light.
Monk:
Surge of Light now summons a bell at the target location that deals damage when a player attacks it. Up to 5 bells can be active at the same time.
All hits from Way of a Hundred Fists trigger the second hit. Consecutive hits with Way of a Hundred Fists increase the skill’s damage by 2%. Stackable up to 350 times.
The target of Seven-Fisted Strike is struck with blows of spiritual power for 15 seconds. Only one enemy can be affected at a time.
Necromancer:
Your golem will now pick up corpses within 20 yards. Each stored corpse allows the use of a corpse-consuming skill with maximum corpses. Up to 30 corpses can be stored.
Enemies within 50 yards are constantly attacked by Army of the Dead with the Unconventional Warfare rune.
Hitting enemies with Death Nova 5 times in a row will unleash a spirit on an enemy. Up to 3 ghosts can be active at the same time.
witch doctor:
Enemies affected by Locust Infestation are now also afflicted. When you use Piranhas, all haunted enemies within 60 yards are pulled into the swarm. Normal enemies stunned by the Swampogator rune die instantly, and elite enemies and bosses take massive damage.
Terror becomes an aura that increases damage taken by enemies by 100% and reduces their damage done by 15%, in addition to its existing effects.
You regularly summon 2 Colossi and 3 Zombie Dogs. Colossi gain the effect of the Restless Giant rune, and Zombie Hounds gain the effect of all runes. Enemies hit by Sacrifice are burned, causing them to take 100% increased damage from your minions.
Wizard:
Your Storm Armor charges over 30 sec. Casting Storm Armor at maximum charge unleashes a powerful bolt of lightning, killing a random enemy within 30 yards. Bosses and elite enemies do not die, but take high damage.
Arcane Orb now periodically spawns up to 4 orbs that orbit you and spawns an additional orb on cast. All orbs from the Arcane Orbit rune now detonate at the same time.
Magic Missile fires 10 missiles and gains the effect of the Seeker rune.

how to get them For completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey, you will each receive “Haedrig’s Gift”. Depending on the size of the set, you will find a certain number of pieces of equipment in a set in the gifts. If you open them all with the same class, you will get a full set and therefore an active bonus of 6.
