In Season 29 of Diablo 3, the developers are bringing player requests such as a solo mode and a limit on Paragon points. We show you all content from patch 2.7.6 in the patch notes.
What do we know about Season 29? The Blizzard team recently released the patch notes for patch 2.7.6 in Diablo 3. This version will start Season 29, which will be the last to run with new content. In the following chapters from 30 onwards only old content should be warmed up again. But in the end, the developers respond to your wishes again and bring a special theme for the “Visions of Enmity” season.
Here we show you the highlights and patch notes in the overview.
Season 29 of Diablo 3 in the overview
When does season 29 start? This is still unknown. The test phase on the PTR will start on August 15th and is expected to be active for two weeks. Should there be any issues or adjustments, the PTR time could also increase.
Solo Self Found mode
What is this mode? In Solo Self Found you fight all by yourself. There is no group option to support you. Blizzard explains that players have been asking for an officially supported solo mode for Diablo 3 for years. Here you do without the group XP bonus and the help of other players. There are also special leaderboards for this.
If you want to take part, you have to activate the corresponding checkbox when creating your character. If you want, you can even play the whole thing as a hardcore version.
Season theme of Season 29: Visions of Enmity
What does the topic bring? From level 1 you have a chance to encounter diabolical rifts in the open world. You get this chance by killing demons. With luck, such a crack will open and send you into the Visions of Enmity. These instances are packed with powerful rewards. You may even open another rift by killing monsters in a vision.
A look at an official screenshot shows that the encounters in it could be quite difficult:
New affixes for monsters
What new affixes are there? Blizzard is teaching its monster packs in Diablo 3 three new affixes. These are:
Paragon Points Limit
What is the new limit? You can only distribute a maximum of 800 Paragon Points in Season 29. So far, apart from the main stats, you could only skill 50 points in individual attributes. Now you can skill up to 200 points per attribute.
However, the whole thing is limited to 200 points per category.
The developers explain that the movement speed was adjusted to 0.125% per point because the new limits would have made players too fast. In addition, the area damage should perform about the same, maybe even a little better.
