Something detonated outdoors on Östermalm in central Stockholm the night of Sunday. No one has been injured and a 20-year-old man has been arrested, according to police.
The alarm about the bang came just before 03 o’clock and several patrols were sent to the scene.
– We do not yet know what has slammed but it can be some kind of pyrotechnics, it is unclear right now, says police spokesman Mats Eriksson.
– There have been no extensive injuries if any injuries at all, he continues.
The site has been blocked off for a technical examination.
The incident is investigated as a general destruction and violation of the Flammable and Explosive Goods Act.
