Details: Swedish gangster murdered in Turkey

Turkish media: Swede arrested

On Monday, a Swedish wanted man was also arrested in the tourist resort of Bodrum, according to SVT, which Turkish media have also reported on. It is unclear if the events are related. The man has previously been convicted in Sweden for, among other things, drug offences.

During Tuesday, Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer (M) has a planned visit to Ankara together with Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M), for the first meeting on the security cooperation that Sweden and Turkey agreed on during the NATO negotiations. Among other things, they will discuss organized crime and terrorism.
