Sweden’s Speaker Andreas Norlén is ready to facilitate the NATO negotiations with Turkey via a trip to Ankara. It appears in an email conversation that Dagens Nyheter has taken part in.
Already in October, the Riksdag’s international adviser wrote to the NATO negotiators that the Speaker is prepared to go to Ankara “if and when it could contribute in a positive way to the bilateral relationship”.
– I only know that a trip is planned. That’s all I can say. As far as I know, no dates have been set, says Norlén’s press secretary to DN.
