17 people have died in a mass shooting in South Africa, reports BBC.
The shooting took place in a remote town. Two homes in the town of Lusikisiki were exposed.

An 18th person is being treated with critical injuries at a hospital.

The death toll is rising after the Russian attacks on a hospital in the city of Sumy in Ukraine, regional authorities say.
At least nine people have been killed and twelve people are injured.
On Saturday morning, Russia attacked Sumy with three drones, two of which hit the hospital, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
“Russia hit one of the city’s hospitals with Shahed drones,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky writes on Telegram.
During the night of Saturday, Russia also attacked the Ukrainian capital Kiev with drones, according to Kiev’s military leadership.

All three have now announced that they deny any wrongdoing.
