According to the Danish DR, who were met by masked men with automatic weapons when they went out to the ship, “Admiral Vladimirsky” is mapping Nordic wind turbines, gas lines and electricity lines out at sea. – The Security Police and the Military Intelligence Service have for a number of years pointed to Russia’s aggressive behavior in the Baltic Sea. You have to take that very seriously, says Björn Palmertz to SVT. 50 suspected spy ships discovered With the help of intercepted radio communications, data analyzes and sources within the intelligence service, 50 suspected Russian spy ships that moved in Nordic waters have been identified. One of these is thus “Admiral Vladimirsky”, which, according to the public service companies’ intelligence sources, is used for espionage on underwater infrastructure. The vessel was revealed by its unusual route through at least two of the Armed Forces’ naval training areas, as well as its disabled AIS transmitter which allowed them to remain hidden.
