Pokémon Go and the expanded version of Pokemon Go with Pokemon Card game-themed in-game events. In the extended version, Trainers can try out new in-game events inspired by this exclusive collaboration in the Pokemon GO app.
These themed in-game events are available from June 16 to June 30, 2022. Trainers can catch a Pikachu wearing a Pokemon TCG-themed hat in the app. Mewtwo can show itself in five-star raids in practice. Wimpod and Golisopod in the extended version appear in the application for the first time. Pokemon Go items contain promo codes that can be redeemed for in-game avatar items, such as a hat and t-shirt combo to match Pikachu’s Pokemon TCG-themed hat. Promo codes are valid from 17 July 2022 to 31 July 2024. Users can use these codes from Niantic Labs. on the web page can use.

Trainers can also collect and play with cards showing Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle and their evolution as part of the upcoming extended version. Shiny Venusaur, Shiny Charizard and Shiny Blastoise can also be encountered in the game. The expanded version, available on July 1st, includes cards with gameplay scenarios that look like real photos and inspired by the popular mobile game.
