Destiny 2: Weekly reset on September 19th

The Guardian community in Destiny 2 is facing an unexpected change to the weekly reset this week. Because Bungie, the developer of the online shooter, was forced to postpone several dates in order to react to an unexpected exploit.

This is what’s happening this week: The Destiny community was already prepared for two new challenges and an update to come to the game this week.

  • What was actually planned for today’s weekly reset was the start of the grandmaster difficulty of the raid “Crota’s End”, the new control modifier “Checkmate” in the Crucible laboratories and, with update 7.2.0.4, a change in the drop rates for the essences the oversoul.
  • However, due to a critical exploit discovered by resourceful players, Bungie was forced to postpone all of this.

So players will now have to be patient in this jinxed Season 22, while Bungie has taken further measures with today’s update to ensure that the Grandmaster Raid can be played in a fair and balanced manner.

Today’s Weekly Reset will still bring refreshed activities and challenges to the world of Destiny 2 to keep players on their toes.

  • Altars of Summoning: Make offerings in the Witch Queen’s otherworldly prison to summon, defeat, and gain power from hideous enemies.

  • All sources for top loot in Destiny 2 Season 22

Guardian armor is showing “growing enthusiasm” in Season 22.

More power level comes automatically: Power levels will also be suspended in Season 22, meaning the hard power level cap in Destiny 2 remains unchanged at 1,810. This means that no player is forced to perform at their best every week, but rather automatically levels up the artifact level in all activities.

  • There are still tough challenges, even without increasing the power level. For example, in Grandmaster Raids, Frontier Twilights, Grandmaster Lost Sectors or the Trials of Osiris. A high artifact level is advantageous and necessary here.
  • However, if you are not currently at the hard cap of 1,810, we have listed the best sources for top loot for you here.
