Destiny 2: Weekly Reset on 12/20 – Today the exo-mission “Operation: Seraph’s Shield” starts

Today’s weekly reset is eagerly awaited in Destiny 2, because it will probably start an exotic mission. MeinMMO tells you what you can expect this week.

This is happening this week: As already announced at the start of Season 19, the exotic mission “Operation: Seraph’s Shield” should start in Destiny 2 today. To successfully complete this mission, Guardians must gain access to the most secure facility in the solar system: a BrayTech orbital platform above the Last City. After that, every week you have to break through the different layers of security to awaken Rasputin before it’s too late.

Some players also suspect that the mysterious objects that have appeared throughout the solar system are related to this exo-mission. These include the yellow Kullers, which look like Clovis Bray’s surveillance drones. After all, according to current counts, these are almost 50 pieces. Then there are the Häkke terminals in the Lost Sectors.

So today’s weekly reset could reveal a cipher that sheds light on the darkness. Also, once Guardians penetrate deep enough into the facility, they reach the Revision Zero weapon.

Vanguard: Dawn – The Crucible

  • “Birthplace of Evil” in Savathun’s throne world
  • The Birthplace of Evil strike is one of the new strikes introduced with the The Witch Queen expansion. He leads the Guardians into a city of darkness where a cryptoglyph and a special “incubator” where Savathûn’s worm was kept alive can be found. The Guardians must now prevent the Scorn from using these facilities again.

    • This week’s Dusk Weapon: As a reward for your run, you always get a special twilight weapon. With the “Wendigo” grenade launcher and the “Disunity” scout rifle, Bungie has chosen two Guardian favorites, which will also be available as a master version later in Season 19.

    This is what happens in the Raid “Königfall”:

    In the current raid “Königsfall” you have to face the fourth raid challenge to get more loot.

  • In the Under Construction challenge, in a damage phase in which you are stealing a witch’s aura, you may only stand once on each platform to generate the runner’s dimensional platforms. After each completed phase, this restriction is reset and you can only stand once again on each platform. If you stand on the same plate twice in one run, the challenge is considered failed.

    • The following raid requirements and challenges await you:

  • In Normal mode, completing a challenge earns you double the loot.
  • You only get status-specific armor and master weapons from the grandmaster raid.
  • You can also earn the new Oryx-themed raid-exclusive Exotic cosmetics in Grandmaster.

    • Additional Legacy Pinnacle Rewards from Endgame:

  • Embark on the “Deepstone Crypt” raid because this week the new craftable weapons from the Deepstone Crypt can also be farmed with it.
  • Play the Prophecy dungeon for more top loot.

    • Crucible – This is the PvP playlist:

  • Team Scorched mode returns in PvP
  • In this mode you can have fun with scorching weapons. But your opponents are aiming for the same goal. So be careful not to burn your Guardian characters.

    Season 19 brought Mars back to the Guardians.

    In Season 19, called “Season of the Seraph”, the Guardians again expect various PvE activities. These include:

  • The Robbery Battlefields
  • The exotic mission “Operation: Seraph’s Shield”
  • And today, from December 20th, also the starting shot for the exotic weapon “Revision Zero”.

    • In addition to Season 19, the previous DLC seasons from “The Witch Queen” are still active until the next DLC Lightfall. For example, you can participate in the weekly repeatable campaign mission and earn top loot there.
