In Destiny 2, the Festival of the Lost enters the second round. MeinMMO also informs you what Bungie has planned for this week in terms of raids, dungeons and Eververse.

This is happening this week: In Destiny 2, the Halloween event 2022 enters the second round. Players can still put on their masks, scare players and clean up the haunted sectors.

What activity awaits the Guardians at the Halloween event? Last year Bungie sent the Guardians to Haunted instead of Lost Sectors. These were decorated in a spooky way and the aim was to hunt down headless beings, which came in the form of flock knights with pumpkin heads.

That will not change in 2022 either, only this year you will fight in Power Ranger mode as “Star Sheriffs” with your new mech armor. The haunted sectors just spread to a new location in the EDZ. There is also a Dread Tech sniper rifle to earn.

Vanguard: Dawn – The Crucible

The Twilight: The Crucible is the Strike:

  • “Disgraced”in the cosmodrome
  • Navôta, the witch and successor to Omnigul, has killed Shaw Han’s fireteam, Cas and Maeve. Deprive the Hive in the cosmodrome of their leader again and take revenge – also in Shawn’s name.

    • This week’s Dusk Weapon: As a reward for your run, you always get a special twilight weapon. In Season 18, Bungie has good old-school options to offer.

    This week it’s the turn of the Whiplash grenade launcher.

    Playlist strikes have the following modifiers this week:

  • Arc Singe
  • heavyweight
  • Grounded
  • The Singe modifier stays with you throughout the week, the others change daily.

    • Endgame: Raid challenges and dungeon rotation

    This happens in the Raid “Königfall”:

  • Specifically, to complete the “The Grass Is Always Greener” challenge, after taking a side from the buff and discarding your points, you must switch sides. This means that if you first gave up the witch, the knight and your points on the left side of the totem, you move to the right side and do the same procedure there.

    • The following raid requirements and challenges await you:

  • In Normal mode, completing a challenge earns you double the loot.
  • The requirement of each encounter for grandmasters is power level 1600 with champions.
  • You only get status-specific armor and master weapons from the grandmaster raid.
  • You can also earn the new Oryx-themed raid-exclusive Exotic cosmetics in Grandmaster.

    • You get additional top rewards from the endgame:

  • In the Throne World of Savathun in The Apprentice’s Oath raid
  • On the Moon in the Pit of Heresy dungeon
    • The final boss in the Pit of Heresy is looking forward to seeing you

    Weekly Activities

    Currently in Season 18, Wardens can play various seasonal activities. So the players became pirates with their own crew and collected cryptic quatrains.

  • Ketch Crash: Engage in ship-to-ship combat to stop Eramis and her band of pirates from wreaking havoc across the galaxy in this new 6-player activity. Here you can earn top loot once a week on grandmasters.
  • Expedition: Compile treasure maps, search for treasure and return to your ship while fending off enemy pirate crews.
  • Pirate Hideouts: Fight your way through weekly missions and loot powerful relics hidden in the pirate lords’ lairs.

    • The seasonal quest is now officially over. So if you played the season promptly this week, you don’t officially have to do a new story step. But we do know that Mithrax and Eido are investigating the mysterious artifacts of Nezarek. So nobody knows what they will discover and, above all, what Bungie could have planned for Season 18.
