A new crossover has been announced for Destiny 2: Assassin’s Creed has been brought on board to equip the guardians with new cosmetics.

What is this crossover? The official “Destiny 2” account announced via Twitter that they had teamed up with Ubisoft.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will allow players to purchase a Destiny 2 character pack that includes armor sets, swords, and skins. In addition, there should be weapons in the style of Destiny’s classes (via Ubisoft.com).

At Destiny 2, meanwhile, cosmetics are to come to the Eververse store. Then there’s an AC ship, Sparrow, Ghost, and three ornament sets.

When does the crossover start? December 6th is mentioned as the date in the tweet. At this point, the new cosmetics should land in Destiny 2.

And one set in particular has apparently already impressed the players.

New Warlock set instantly draws fans to its side

What players say: Shortly after the announcement, fans were already reacting to the new crossover. The Warlock set in particular seems to have appealed to some players.

There are new cosmetics for Assassin’s Creed and Destiny 2

While fans aren’t quite sure yet whether the set is Altair or Ezio themed, it seems to be emerging as a favorite nonetheless. A user attributes the outfits to the assassins: “It looks like Warlocks got Altair, Titans Eivor and Jäger Kassandra”. The user also writes on reddit: “Finally the Warlocks are ahead.”

  • “Damn, the new Warlock helmet is Spicy,” writes one user (via reddit).
  • “Nice, a good Warlock helmet without the unicorn horn,” says another (via reddit).
  • “I’m not that interested in AC anymore, but I’m keen on some Assassin drip in Destiny” (via reddit).
  • But the other sets are also well received by different players. A few users write that maybe you shouldn’t stop here. For example, user “just_a_timetraveller” suggests just introducing sea shanties into Destiny (via reddit) – like on AC Black Flag’s ship.

It’s not the first time Destiny 2 has launched a crossover with another game. For example, there were Fortnite-style ornaments in Destiny 2, while Fortnite launched a new Destiny-style mode.
