Updated at 1:30 p.m – The servers are still not working and when trying to log in, the error message “cat” appears. Bungie hasn’t reported a delay in downtime either. So it looks like the Destiny 2 restart will be pushed back again.

The problem in Destiny 2 is more complex than expected
What happened? As we reported on the evening of the incident, the published Hotfix 6.3.0.5 leads to unexpected and serious problems. Many won triumphs, seals and catalysts disappeared from the keeper’s collections out of nowhere. Many could be collected again, but many also remained greyed out.

While many guardians were now hoping that the servers would go back online in good time, Bungie was looking in vain for a bug fix.
In order to get the cart out of the woods, the team decided to prepare a rollback and overwrite the current save with the one from January 24th at 5:20 p.m. In this way, all items and triumphs as well as seals received at this time can be saved.
