Destiny 2 relies on a hybrid structure with the upcoming episode
What changes? In a new blog post on the Bungie website, the new content release strategy for the upcoming season was announced. Instead of publishing everything directly at the start of an act, you now want to rely on a hybrid structure.
You want to knock out a balance between everything on the first day of an act compared to meaningful reasons, to log in throughout the episode. The majority of the activities still want to be brought to the release of an act, but further develop this content with the weekly story.
Every week there should also be a seasonal challenge for which you get a seasonal weapon. Instead of publishing all weapons of an episode directly, half of the episodic weapons are published with act 2.
The length of the file should no longer take 5 to 6 weeks. For example, act 2 should go for 3 weeks according to the blog post.
When does episode appear: heresy? Episode: heresia is to be released on February 4, 2025. Like the previous episodes, there should be 3 acts again this time. Since you want to vary with the length of the file, it is unclear in which cycle the will appear.
