Destiny 2 adjusts 19 Exos for “The Final Shape,” but everyone is only interested in one change

As with every major expansion, Guardians can look forward to many buffs and nerfs affecting their Exo armor in Destiny 2 “The Final Shape.” This time, 19 pieces are affected, but fans are more interested in an upcoming change.

What did Bungie announce? Bungie has provided a major developer look into armor tuning for “The Final Shape” in their latest TWiD, revealing what’s happening to 19 Exo armors from Destiny 2. Some have been buffed while others have been nerfed.

In keeping with this, Bungie had to adjust Exos so that they no longer refer to a specific focus, but to the associated element. This is important because the new and mixable class “Prismatic” will be released with the release of the DLC.

The best change, however, which is even being celebrated in the community, is a small change in exotic armor upgrades. A small spoiler: they are becoming more powerful and more worthwhile.

What buffs and nerfs are there? Bungie has taken a close look at 19 Exo armors and adjusted them. Some of them were far too dominant and needed to be made worse, and others were far too weak and needed to be improved. We have put all the changes in German in our gray box that you can open:

  • What are Guardians looking forward to? In fact, the nerfs and buffs don’t look that promising. Players on Reddit note that there are no major meta changes with “The Final Shape” and only the buffs for the Mantle of Battle Harmony, Ursa Furiosa and Khepri’s Horn actually turn out to be good. Despite the sobering list that Bungie revealed, there is one announcement that many are excited about and that is the refinement of Exo armor, which can be further improved after its masterpiece. (via reddit.com)

According to Bungie, it will be possible to convert a Masterwork Exo Armor into an Ornate Exo Armor using an Exotic Code and 10,000 Glimmer. This will allow players to finally refine their builds with their Exo Armors and push up to three or more character stats to 100 points.

The only problem players see, however, is obtaining them. These codes are rare and although many are stuck with 5 copies, it is difficult to get them as a newbie. Fans are therefore hoping that Xur will be the one who can make these codes available in larger quantities.

    What are Ornate Armors?

Ornate armor is special armor with an additional mod slot in its socket. This slot can hold a mod that increases your character stats by 3 additional points. The mod is energy-free and thus increases your stats additionally. This can be useful if you need a few points in your build to perfect it.

That was the most important information regarding the Exo armor and its changes in “The Final Shape”. Are you excited about the story that will finally come to an end with the release?
