Tottenham’s Italian goalkeeper was injured on Saturday in the victorious game against Manchester City.

The number one goalkeeper of Tottenham, who plays in the English Premier League Guglielmo Vicario had surgery on monday because he has a fracture in his right ankle.
The Italian goalkeeper was injured on Saturday in the match against Manchester City, where Tottenham celebrated a handsome 4-0 away victory. Tottenham reported about Vicario’s injury on their website, but did not give an estimate of how long he will be out of action.
Vicario, 28, revealed on social media that he played 60 minutes against City with a broken ankle.
– Sometimes football offers great moments and sometimes it challenges you in a way you don’t expect, he wrote.
Vicario has played in all of Tottenham’s league games this season. He has played in four matches for the Italian men’s national team. Vicario was between Italy’s posts in two Nations League matches this fall.
Tottenham is sixth in the Premier League.
