Armand Duplantis did it again.
The Swede won his second straight WC gold this weekend.
Here is girlfriend Desiré Inglander’s beautiful love tribute to “Mondo”.
It doesn’t come immediately as a bang when Armand Duplantis winning gold medals now. But the display during the pole vault final of the World Athletics Championships on Saturday night is somewhat in the way of supremacy.

“Mondo” got up to 6.10 meters without breaking even once and then secured the WC gold without a single barrier. He then continued further up to 6.23 meters to break a new world record.

But now the tears came because Duplantis did not feel completely 100 percent in his body. Despite that, he was still close to passing the world trial on two of the jumps.

Desiré in place
Instead, Mondo had to settle for the second straight WC gold and fifth straight championship gold in the last three years. An impressive feat by the 23-year-old who completely dominates in his sport.

There were incredibly nice scenes at the WC arena in Budapest when Duplantis immediately ran up to the girlfriend Desire Inglander in the stands. She was there to show her full support and the couple met in a highly publicized victory kiss that received great media coverage.

Beautiful tribute
Armand and Desiré met in 2020 and are currently living together in Stockholm. They are open about their everyday life and their love for each other on social media.
Now Desiré Inglander has posted a beautiful love tribute to her boyfriend after the new WC gold, see below.
“Proud”, she writes together with several photos from the gold celebration in Budapest.
The post on Instagram has over 27,000 likes and many want to congratulate Mondo and pay tribute to their infectious love, see the photos below.
