Van Rijthoven put buzzard Scott back in his cage on Friday afternoon, together with his buzzard friend Maxima. When Van Rijthoven arrived at the cage on Saturday, Scott was nowhere to be seen. “He probably got loose and squeezed through the plates in the aviary. Or he saw a rat and dived after it through a hole in the cage,” says Van Rijthoven.
