The police state that several patrols work at the scene with disturbances, drunkenness, drugs and violent crimes. Thousands of young people are supposed to be at the site and the police describe it as a “bad place” for young people to be in right now. “Out of consideration, we urge ALL parents who have a young person out tonight to contact your young people and take them home from Hoppbacken and Enskedefältet and the surrounding areas,” the police write. The degree of intoxication is described as “extremely high”. – There are some festivities there, we’ve been there, it’s been quite full. A little rough, there are a lot of young people in the place. We’ll see how it develops, says Lars Alvarsjö, station commander in Stockholm South.
