In the written statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was reported that Deputy Minister Akçapar and his Greek counterpart Papadopoulou held a regular Political Dialogue Meeting in Ankara.
It was stated in the statement that various aspects of bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues were discussed during the meetings, and added: “Both sides reiterated their common commitment to develop the existing positive atmosphere in the fields of bilateral and international cooperation in line with the Athens Declaration signed by the leaders of the two countries in Athens last December. .” The statement was included.
In the statement, it was underlined that the preparations for the planned visit of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to Turkey were discussed at the meeting, and the developments achieved so far in the existing dialogue channels, including all aspects of bilateral relations, were evaluated.
