Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy chief of staff at the Ukrainian presidential office, writes on Telegram that the attacks are aimed at energy and infrastructure.
“The situation in the capital is extremely difficult,” he writes.
The authorities are now reviewing the energy supply and taking measures on the electricity grid.
The public is asked to be sparing with electricity, if it is still in use.
“Use electricity sparingly and be patient. The enemy will be defeated,” he writes on Telegram.
