Deputies and senators meeting in a joint committee (CMP) reached an agreement on Tuesday on the immigration bill, with the support of the National Rally, after long and difficult hours of negotiations.
The CMP, made up of seven senators and seven deputies, began its work at 5:00 p.m. Monday then resumed it at 10:30 a.m. after a chaotic night, due in particular to last minute disagreements on the question of social benefits. This text remains to pass the voting stage in both chambers, scheduled for the evening.
