Utrecht – If you take a can from the vending machine at school, you have to pay a deposit on it since 1 April. But what do you do with the empty can? Do you keep it between your school books in your bag all day, or do you just throw it away? As of today, students and employees at Leidsche Rijn College no longer have to worry about this, because the school is the first in the Netherlands to have its own deposit machine.
