Tomorrow, Friday, Denmark will enter the European Championships as Germany awaits the premiere – and then the Danes will wear mourning ribbons.
“The shooting at Fields was terrible and everyone on the team is affected by this”, says Denmark’s team captain Pernille Harder in a press release from the Danish Football Association.
“Our thoughts are with the victims and the survivors. We play with mourning bands to remember and honor those who are no longer with us,” Harder continues.
