Danish police extend the decision on increased border controls until August 17, reports Danmarks Radio.
This means that Danish police will continue with spot checks in connection with trips into Denmark from both Sweden and Germany.
The previous decision on increased border controls applied until August 10 and is, according to the Danish Ministry of Justice, a response to the increased threat that has arisen after a series of Koran burnings in the country.
