Rammstein played their first gig in Berlin since the sexual abuse allegations became known. Protesters outside the arena demanded a ban on the concert.

Before the first of the metal band Rammstein’s total of three concerts in the hometown of Berlin, around 300 protesters gathered outside the Olympic Stadium yesterday.

Under the slogan “Kein Rammstein in Berlin”, the protesters demanded a ban on the concert.

This, because Rammstein’s singer Till Lindemann is the subject of a preliminary investigation regarding accusations of sexual crimes and distribution of narcotics. Police had to keep the demonstrators and concertgoers apart, writes Berlin Zeitung.
