Today there were demonstrations in the Overvecht district against the proposed plans for the redevelopment of the neighborhood and the extent to which residents have a say. If it were up to the municipality, there would be less space for cars, new flats would be built and some social housing would be moved. Although the opportunity to have a say in the plans is still open, Overfighters still take to the streets because they do not feel heard.
