The Food Bank already had its own building and van, but everything was in Leerdam’s name. “But that is eight kilometers away and at a certain point it starts to irritate you,” says the founder. According to her, it works better this way, because residents feel more involved with the Vianen Food Bank and would like to give something. “That’s more appealing.”
