(Telestock) – Delta Air Lines announces a significant expansion of its network for Italy in summer 2025, with four new routes and an increase in frequencies on other routes. Between the news, direct flights from Catania to New York JFK, from Rome to Minneapolis, from Milan to Boston and from Naples to Atlanta. In addition, Delta will increase daily flights from Rome to Atlanta to three during the peak season. Overall, Delta to operate up to 116 weekly flights between Italy and the United Stateswith capacity growth of more than 10% compared to the previous year.
“In 2025 Italy will record for Delta the international growth by far more significant of any other transatlantic market we serve,” he said Matteo Curcio, Senior Vice President Delta for Europethe Middle East, Africa and India. New routes will be offered from several Italian cities, including Milan-Boston and Naples-Atlanta, and a direct flight between Sicily and New York will be inaugurated.
Delta will work with its partners to Air France KLM joint venture to operate all flights from Italy. Once in the United States, passengers will be able to continue with connections to over 250 destinations throughout North America.
The company will continue to improve the onboard experience thanks to new aircraft like the A330-900 and A350-900, which offer Delta One suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin cabins, as well as free Wi-Fi. Delta also introduced new Delta One lounges at New York JFK, Los Angeles, Boston and Seattle.
Flights for summer 2025 will be bookable from 21st September on the Delta website and at travel agencies.
