(Finance) – Deliveristoonline marketplace for restaurateurs and chefs launched in 2019 by the three young entrepreneurs Ivan Aimo, Luca Calia and Gabriele Angeleri, announces the closing of a 7 million equity investment round of Euro.
Vertis SGRthrough his new fund “Vertis Venture 5 Scaleup”, is the lead investor of the round, which also includes a reinvestment of United Ventures SGRthrough the “United Ventures II” fund, Azimut Libera Impresa SGRthrough the “Azimut Digitech Fund” ed Italian Angels for Growth such as IAG, Gellify Digital Investments, Doorway and others.
The round will support Deliveristo’s growth path which provides, in addition to the consolidation of the leadership position in the Italian market, expansion into Europe and the launch of new services for customers and suppliers, from data-driven marketing to financial services related to payment management.
In the rounds preceding the Italian foodtech had already raised 5.6 million euros: € 1.1 million between pre-seed and seed and € 4.5 million in round A led by United Ventures in December 2020.
