In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 you can choose whether you prefer to act in a light, flexible or heavy armor made of metal plates. There is a big difference between the two armor types – not only in the effectiveness of protection.
How do armor work in KDC2?
A folding metal frame cannot be secret
What kind of gigantic difference is that? Of course, heavy armor offers significantly more protection and should therefore be your choice if you are often involved in fighting and also insert one or two goals.
A slight armor is much quieter and therefore the better choice if you want to proceed secretly-for example when creating quest objects or in the everyday work of a thief. Since money and food are in short supply, especially at the beginning of the game, thieves are an important procedure that you should master.
The “Nukovyt” user shows how big the difference between the armor types really is in a short video on YouTube:
So if you want to insert the goods of a stranger at night, you should prefer to slip into light fabric clothes. The movements are much louder when it comes to heavy armor and thus attract the unwanted attention of possible witnesses.
If you don’t care about witnesses because you use the sword anyway and demonstrate your strength to every observer, you can of course use the rattling metal frame.
As soon as you have found the right armor for your purposes, it is up to you to successfully implement the planned procedure. Thieves should consider a few things, because not only the armor decides whether you are successful or caught when stealing.
