Delicatos popular Lusseboll creates chaos in Swedish homes

It was a few weeks ago that the baking giant Delicato started hinting at a new product that would arrive in time for December.

It’s all about an oat ball that has been given a Christmas touch as it also has a taste of saffron. Several major influencers and food critics have shown off trying the ball on social media. And so far it has received good marks.

– Oh, a lot of saffron… and then comes this creamy stuff. And it tastes like coconut. Nemen I really like this one. 6.6 out of 10. I think the cinnamon bun cake is the best they have, though.

Despite the fact that the ball is supposed to be good, there are many who have reacted strongly in the comment fields to the fact that it has already begun to creep forward. This is because many believe that you should not advertise Christmas products already in September. The same applies to mulled wine and gingerbread.

This is what Delicato’s new lussebol tastes like

The Nyheter24 editorial team tried the new lusseball and you can safely say that there were strong reactions and divided opinions.

3/5

I really liked the rich saffron flavor of the fluff ball. To reach a higher rating, less butter flavor would be required, as it took over and became sticky”.

3/5

“The Lusseball was both juicy and tasty. To my surprise and delight, it actually clearly tasted of saffron. Unfortunately, it was a little too sweet for my taste and drinking sweet mulled wine with it would have been too mastic. But for those who want something sweet after the meal with a smooth cup of coffee, the lusseball is perfect”.

4/5

“Lussebollen tastes like oatball 2.0, in other words – extra good. If you like oatball with a Christmas twist, the lussebollen will absolutely fall on your lips”.

5/5

“If you like saffron and oat balls, you can’t stay away from these. Tip: DON’T eat them cold in the fridge, but let them sit for at least 30 minutes. Then the taste of the saffron will become even clearer! But definitely 5/5 – they are life-threatening!”.

“Chemical taste. – Should they be like that? I wish I had Sverker’s garbage can. Why buy this when you can buy a good saffron bun and actually enjoy it”.

2/5

“Definitely OK coffee. But once you’ve tasted Delicato’s oat balls, it’s preferable every day of the week”.

4/5

“Super creamy and delicious. Perfect saffron flavor together with the sweetness in the ball. Perfect together with a strong cup of coffee”.

Lussebollen will be in stores from week 40!
