The road surface on the A28 near Amersfoort has not been in good condition for some time. “A definitive approach was planned in a few weeks. Last weekend we tried to keep the lane open with a temporary repair, but unfortunately it turned out yesterday that this was not a solution after all,” Rijkswaterstaat said on X (formerly Twitter ).
