It has been a bit shaky in Blågult after Hugo Larsson left the national team gathering before the match against Estonia.
Team captain Dejan Kulusevski called for calm – now he is being sawn by the other players.

When Hugo Larsson left the national team in the middle of the Nations League gathering, most Swedes reacted in one way or another. His alleged schism with the union captain Jon Dahl Tomasson made the headlines after the 3-0 victory against Estonia about the rift in Blågult rather than the win itself.
After the final whistle, the team captain met Dejan Kulusevski the assembled press corps in the mixed zone.
– We are here to play football and we don’t want drama or anything. We don’t want to point the finger at anyone. We are here and try to help each other and sometimes in families things go a little wrong. But it happens in all families. You just have to move on and the water continues to move on, he told SVT Sport.
Not just praise for Dejan
Dejan also gave a little advice to his younger midfield adept.
– If Hugo wants to talk, I will always be here to talk and give the advice I think. But at the same time, it is he who decides. It’s his career and he gets to make his decisions, he said.

During the gathering, large parts of the troupe have been united in a kind of party game, a role-playing game that is usually called “Mafia”. During the trip home from Azerbaijan, several players had fun with this – which seems to have resulted in a good atmosphere in the group.
