    How do you recognize acid titans? Acid Titans are currently the largest Terminids you can encounter in Helldivers 2. You can recognize them by their long, thin and armored legs. They have a green acid reservoir on the underside of their otherwise grayish bodies, and they are massively armored on the upper side.

    If there is an Acid Titan near you, you definitely won’t have any trouble seeing it. Due to its enormous size, it can be seen from hundreds of meters.

  • If you stand between the titan’s hind legs, it cannot hit you with its acid attack. However, you are not protected from his kicks there and you should be careful not to stand incorrectly, because between his front legs you are a target for his acid attack.
  • You can destroy the Titan’s acid reservoir. Afterwards he can no longer shoot acid and therefore loses his strongest attack.

    This is how you eliminate the acid titan: There are two effective ways to take down Acid Titans, but you’ll need either powerful orbital attacks or a railgun.

    Ideally, you have an “Orbital: Railgun Strike” or an “Orbital Laser” that you fire at the Acid Titan. This will at least do a lot of damage to him or, if necessary, kill him outright.

    If the railgun strike does not directly eliminate the Acid Titan, the Beetle’s armor will instead break at the point where it was hit. You can now do damage to him there. Ideally, you should now shoot at the unprotected area with the railgun or the automatic cannon in order to take him out as quickly as possible.

    If you don’t have an orbital attack available at the moment or want to inflict damage from a long distance, then you have to shoot the acid titan in the face with the railgun. However, this may require more than 10 hits.

    When fighting acid titans, it’s important to have the best loadout possible, but to do this you should reach level 20 as quickly as possible. If you have not yet reached this magical level limit, you cannot equip the rail cannon strike and the railgun. The extremely useful shield generator backpack is also previously unavailable.

    If a member of your team owns the railgun, he can request it for you and replenish his ammunition during ammunition supplies or resupply deliveries.
