It was in April last year that the verdict was handed down in Blekinge district court in the high-profile PFAS case. The verdict ruled that Ronneby Miljöteknik must compensate the around 160 Kallinge residents in the PFAS association, which sued the municipal company. The district court justified the verdict by saying that elevated levels of PFAS in the blood are classified as a personal injury.
But the municipality appealed the verdict. On Tuesday, November 8, the negotiations began in the Court of Appeal over Skåne and Blekinge.
Today is the time for the Court of Appeal’s ruling to be presented. At eleven o’clock comes the verdict.
