Overtime in county derby.
Then Egor Polin decided for Södertälje against Djurgården – with a zorro goal.
– The fans are so sick here and it’s crazy fun to do it at home, says the match hero in TV4 Play.
It was at 3-3 and extra time that SSK’s Egor Polin went behind the goal – and got an idea.
The forward pryed the puck up on the blade – and threw in a zorro behind Viktor Andrén.
A goal that meant 4–3 and two points for the home team SSK.
– I did it as a junior at some point, says zorro hero Egor Polin in TV4 Play.
– It’s something you practice a little from time to time.
– I don’t know what the boy is doing to be honest, says his teammate Hampus Harlestam.
“Gives them a ticket into the game”
Before that, it was a swinging match where Djurgården started the strongest and ended the first period with 2–0 after two nice goals from Hampus Larsson and Victor Eklund.
But in the second period Djurgården started to take unnecessary expulsions and lost the upper hand.
Colby Sissons did make it 3–2, but SSK managed to force overtime through Albert Wikman before Polin sealed the decision.
– We give them a ticket into the match with our expulsions, says Dif coach Robert Kimby.
Södertälje is still second in the table behind Björklöven, while Djurgården loses one position and is fifth.
