Decided – after 16 goalless games

AIK took a real moral victory at home against Björklöven after being down for a long time.

The 3-3 goal first came with one minute and 44 seconds left to play when Lukas Zetterberg managed to shovel a puck over Löven goalkeeper Melwin Asp Cassåsen on the power play.

The match went to extra time and there AIK had a great opportunity to decide when Björklöven got too high and the home team could start with all three men.

First on target in 16 games

The puck to Oliver Tärnström, who steered in decisively 4–3.

The 22-year-old’s first in 16 games.

– We have a good energy and really believe in it today, he says in TV4’s broadcast.

– It wasn’t the hardest goal I scored, but of course it’s nice to score again.

Löven’s third straight loss

AIK now has three straight victories and thus continues to collect points under the new old coach Roger Melin.

For Björklöven, it was the team’s third straight loss.

– We are in such a period right now, but we will come out stronger from this period when we get our regular line-up back, says Björklöven’s head coach Björn Hellkvist.
