Agreement reached on AI regulations for the EU
The EU is on the way to a common regulatory framework for the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Late on Friday evening, negotiators from the Union’s various institutions agreed on a bill that is supposed to come into full force in 2025.
Companies that break the rules can be fined 35 million euros or seven percent of global turnover.
